WHEN it comes to the Malaysian property market, locations such as Damansara Heights, Bangsar and Kenny Hills have often been considered the “creme de la creme’’ of real estate living.

These places are regarded as one of the most “sought-after addresses” within the Klang Valley and synonymous with not only luxury living, but also the highest level of the social ladder.

However, over the years, there has been a growing number of homes within these areas that have either been put up for sale or rent.

In fact, it’s not even surprising to see a derelict property or two that has been completely overrun with weeds and creepers or become a haven for wild animals.
